Charlene has worked in theatre for most of her adult life and has had the privilege of playing some of the great women in literature. For example, Blanche in “Street Car”, Martha in “Virginia Wolf” and even Florence Unger in “The Odd Couple” to name just a few.
She naturally has a British sound which works really well for upscale, professional, educated voice over work. She also has a soothing quality to her voice which helps when reading compassionate or human interest pieces. Charlene has also found that her love of medical terminology has led her to becoming high in demand to voice for doctors and medical associates. Children’s stories are also one of her strong suites and passions.
